Management Tip Monday : Your Work / Life Marriage
At the Small Business Adminstration’s Urban Economic Forum at Barnard College on Friday, a star-studded lineup of successful women took the stage and repeatedly reminded the audience of one thing: the difference between work and life. For Valentine’s Day this year, The Levo League wants you to try thinking of that whole “work and life” business as a marriage. And like any healthy marriage, it’s easiest to manage the two together when there’s a healthy amount of invigorating activity.
Gina Harman, CEO of Accion, took the stage at Barnard on Friday to say that on days when she feels like she’s tapping into the reason why she pursues her line of work, the “life” part of “Work and Life” falls into place naturally.
