This week, the indefatigable Kelly Hoey sits with Barbara Kolsun, Executive VP and General Counsel for Stuart Weitzman. Barbara started Stuart Weitzman’s first in-house legal department and manages all legal matters for the company. With a history that includes being General Counsel of Seven For All Mankind and Assistant General Counsel of Calvin Klein Jeanswear Co., she’s a proven name in fashion law. But it doesn’t stop there— Barbara also clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.
Barbara recently published Fashion Law: A Guide for Designers, Fashion Executives, and Attorneys (Fairchild Books), the first textbook on Fashion Law. She also lectures at the University of Chicago Law School.
