AMANDA POUCHOT

Amanda is the eternally bright-eyed, indefatigable co-founder of the Levo (League). A true California girl, Amanda is a 2008 graduate of UC Berkeley (GO BEARS!) where she focused on Social Psychology and earned a BA in Sociology. Her research interests lie in status, stereotype and how individuals form their identity from the institutions around them. After 22 years in sunny California she moved to New York to work for McKinsey & Company in the Organization Practice. While at McKinsey she became involved in the Centered Leadership movement: a movement focused on understanding how successful women reached the pinnacles of their career and then sharing those lessons and strategies on a large scale. Amanda is excited to be spending her days building a community for women to connect, learn and grow with one another.

OF NOTE : At every free moment Amanda can be found outside - exploring New York, playing flag football in Central Park or pickup basketball with friends. She’s known to break out into spontaneous dancing, prepare chicken parm for a party of 6, and constantly make fun of her co-founder, Caroline (although secretly loves her like a sister, despite her having attended Stanford University).
